Adidas continues its collaboration with one of the biggest stars in today’s NBA — Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Following the success of the first model comes the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 — a shoe designed for speed, explosiveness, and aggressive play. The “Blue Fusion” colorway, combining performance, energy, and standout design, will drop on October 25, 2025.
Design Inspired by the Energy of the Game
The “Blue Fusion” colorway immediately grabs attention — dominated by deep blue with metallic and lime accents. Visually and symbolically, it references the Timberwolves’ team colors, while maintaining a modern and street-ready look. The engineered mesh upper is reinforced with synthetic panels, combining lightweight comfort, support, and durability — making the shoes perform perfectly both on and off the court.
Technology and Performance
1️⃣ Lightstrike 2.0 Midsole The AE2 features upgraded Lightstrike 2.0 foam — the next generation of lightweight cushioning that offers:
extremely low weight,
instant responsiveness upon impact,
improved energy return during takeoff.
2️⃣ Support Cage A solid TPU frame runs along the sides of the shoe, acting as a lateral stabilizer. Its purpose is to:
prevent ankle rollover during side movements,
stabilize the foot on landings,
provide a “locked-in” feel without limiting mobility.
3️⃣ Internal Bootie Fit Instead of a traditional tongue, the AE2 features a neoprene sock-like construction. This design wraps the foot completely, offering: ✅ reduced lace pressure, ✅ no internal slipping, ✅ greater comfort during long wear.
4️⃣ Outsole and Traction The outsole is made from full-length durable rubber with a multi-level traction pattern inspired by wolf claws — a symbol of both Anthony Edwards and his team. The traction delivers:
aggressive grip on indoor courts,
stability during pivots,
and reliable performance on outdoor surfaces thanks to its shape and depth.

This year’s Kooperativa NBL playoffs bring not only thrilling battles on the court, but also a powerful story and real help. The Czech Basketball Federation, in cooperation with the NBL Association of League Clubs, Basket-obchod, and partners, has prepared a charity project with a clear goal—help.
On almost every game day there’s a half-court shooting contest. A successful shooter wins a Basket-obchod voucher worth CZK 10,000. And if they miss? No problem—this is where the charity steps in: the Czech Basketball Federation and ALK NBL donate CZK 1,000 to a good cause.
Help for Míša and Moms with Cancer
The main beneficiaries are the non-profit organization Moms with Cancer and specifically 25-year-old Míša from Brno. Míša is fighting a brain tumor and severe depression and is permanently dependent on a wheelchair. Her mother— a hero of everyday care—handles the situation with her, looking after Míša on the second floor without an elevator.
The funds raised will help with respite care, so Mom can rest for a while, and with psychosocial support for Míša and her loved ones.
If any fans would like to contribute to Míša, you can donate to the collection account 2601664135/2010 and write FOR MÍŠU in the note.
A basketball that has the power to change lives
Every fan can get involved! Basket-obchod offers a special edition of Peak balls with the CZ BASKETBALL logo and “100 years.” Proceeds from their sales go directly to support the charity mentioned above.

New Orleans Pelicans’ young star Zion Williamson was the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. In his first season he made the NBA All-Rookie First Team, and the following year he became the fourth-youngest player ever selected for the All-Star Game. In 2019, the Air Jordan brand took him under its wing with a 7-year, $75M deal. Jordan didn’t keep Zion waiting long for his first signature model—his first official basketball shoe was unveiled in late April 2021. This new release has recently arrived to us as well, so we put it through our test.
Design and materials
One of the main inspirations behind the design of Zion Williamson’s first signature sneaker was superhero armor and the letter “Z,” which the lead designers say evokes speed and physical power and is among the most striking letters in the alphabet. A notable design element is the tongue with ample padding and a unique stitch pattern that reduces lace pressure and helps the shoe sit comfortably on the foot. Under the top mesh that covers the forefoot are lace loops thick enough for proper tightening.
Traction and ankle support
On the outsole of Zion’s first model, the designers chose a multi-directional irregular pattern that grips perfectly on any surface and prevents slipping. This type of outsole will suit any player who relies on agility and quick changes of direction. The Air Jordan Zion 1 falls into the mid-top basketball category. In the forefoot you can see two pairs of fabric lace loops on the sides that wrap and hold the foot securely. Slightly raised sidewalls fit well around the ankle and help keep it supported—even for players prone to this type of injury.
Cushioning
In terms of comfort, we can confidently say Jordan Brand and Zion did a great job. The Zion 1 brings a new cushioning combo that pairs a full-length Air Strobel unit with a stacked Zoom Air unit in the forefoot. The widened outsole construction was inspired by massive truck tires, providing excellent stability on landings and during changes of direction.
Sizing
Choosing the size for this model shouldn’t be a problem. The shoes fit true to size; there’s no need to go up or down compared to what you’re used to.
Score rating
If this review convinced you that the Air Jordan Zion 1 is right for you, don’t hesitate to stop by Basket-obchod in Prague or Brno, or simply order at www.basket-obchod.cz
One of Kobe Bryant’s most historically popular signature models, the Nike Kobe 6, returns to the market in its Protro version in a fabulous red-black colorway.
A bit of history…
The sixth model from the Nike Basketball x Kobe Bryant collaboration debuted at Christmas 2010 in the legendary “Grinch” colorway as part of the Nike Basketball Christmas Day collection. Kobe then wore this model throughout the 2010–2011 season. The Lakers entered that season after back-to-back titles in 2008/09 and 2009/10, but they didn’t complete the three-peat and were eliminated in the Western Conference semifinals by that year’s champions, the Dallas Mavericks. For Kobe, it was one of the less successful seasons, yet he still averaged 25.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
The designer of this unforgettable model was one of Nike’s leading creators, Eric Avar, who, besides many Kobe models, also worked on iconic silhouettes such as the Nike Air Penny, Nike Air Foamposite, and Nike Zoom Ultraflight. His portfolio also notably includes the first Nike Hyperdunk, which Kobe Bryant introduced together with LeBron James at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Nike Kobe 6 Protro “All Star”
As the colorway name suggests, this makeup was first introduced at the NBA All-Star Game in 2011, where Kobe Bryant played a great game—37 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 assists—leading the Western Conference team to a narrow win over the East, earning All-Star Game MVP.

All information regarding the release of the Nike Kobe 6 “All Star” will be published for everyone at the same time on our social networks.
For some, a black-and-white shoe; for others, the sneaker of all sneakers. What exactly are the Nike Air More Uptempo, and when could we first see them?
In the context of basketball sneakers, the 1990s can be called the best era for this field. Sneaker designs covered a truly wide range and, besides narrow “safe” models, a number of nonstandard wide “loaves” also made it to market.
Competing with the Air Jordan Retro line wasn’t easy in that era. The Nike Air More Uptempo silhouette was first released in 1996 and was created by designer Wilson Smith, who was also responsible for a unique brand strategy. While in the second half of the ’90s most designers tried to create unobtrusive and simple silhouettes, Wilson Smith decided to go the opposite way, as this period was for him a time of expansion not only of artistic movements but above all of the popularization of nonstandard and bold aesthetics.
The first release of the Air More Uptempo model was introduced alongside the Air Jordan 11 Retro, one of the most popular silhouettes of the entire Air Jordan Retro line. A silhouette as unique and revolutionary as the Nike Uptempo deserved a unique face. Every hooper associates the year 1996 with the Chicago Bulls, and because Michael Jordan was the face of his own brand, the main face of the Uptempo model became Scottie Pippen. Scottie’s game was truly versatile—he could play multiple positions—and the silhouette was presented with similarly versatile use.
Since the first release of the Nike Air More Uptempo, nearly a quarter of a century has passed, yet interest has never waned. In recent years we’ve seen a strong comeback of this silhouette in many new colorways as well as in interesting collaborations. Among the most memorable we can definitely include the collaboration with the skate/streetwear brand Supreme.
We also know what’s right, and that’s why on Friday, June 19, we will follow NIKE in reminding the whole world that we are all equal here. NIKE decided, in response to racist attacks in the United States, to remind people on the anniversary of the end of slavery in the U.S. (known as “Juneteenth,” or Freedom Day) of this important fact. Although June 19 is not a national holiday in America, Nike plans to declare a paid company holiday on this day every year.
And because this campaign makes great sense, Basket-obchod is joining in by closing its stores on Friday. We look forward to seeing you again on Saturday and Sunday!
And for those of you who can’t or don’t want to wait, we’re offering at least a -20% discount on our e-shop. Just enter the password “EQUALITY” in your order.
